Amazon Prime Video is seeking an experienced science leader to drive state-of-the-art NLP and computer vision research for video-centric media. You will build and maintain an environment to recruit, retain and develop top talent, and lead the research direction for a team of applied scientists.

You will create roadmaps for forward-looking research, hire and mentor scientists, and communicate strategy to senior leadership to align with customer needs and content understanding goals across Prime

Qualifications

• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with deep learning and computer vision algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the research direction for a team of applied scientists.
