Thomson Reuters Labs seeks a Lead Applied Scientist to define research strategy and drive AI/ML initiatives across multiple product features. You will mentor scientists, lead stakeholder engagement, and translate customer problems into production-ready AI applications.

This role shapes our AI roadmap in legal, tax, and information domains. The ideal candidate has a PhD or Master’s plus 7+ years in IR/NLP/ML/GenAI, with a strong product mindset and proven cross-functional leadership.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or Master’s with equivalent industry experience in CS/ML.
• 7+ years building production IR/NLP/ML/GenAI systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver AI capabilities.
• Strong product mindset to translate customer problems into AI apps.
• Publications in top venues (ACL, NeurIPS, etc.).
• Experience delivering production code with MLOps practices.
