Job summary

The North Carolina Secretary of State is seeking an experienced Application Systems Specialist to perform advanced-level analysis, design, development, and support for enterprise applications. You will lead or coordinate client/server and web-based projects using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.

The role provides technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with business users and IT teams to deliver system improvements, testing, migrations, and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with client/server applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Lead or coordinate application implementations, upgrades, testing, migrations, and system enhancements.
• Experience with relational database design, APIs, interfaces, and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and SQL Server.
• Define and implement system enhancements and performance improvements.
