Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to provide high-level design directions and lead complex development efforts. You will mentor less experienced staff and coordinate tasks across development, operations, and technology teams to align with client requirements and business goals.

You will review specifications, develop test plans, and ensure documentation is thorough while promoting efficiency and risk-aware practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 6 years systems analysis or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms.
• Proficient with personal computers and standard office software.
• Multi-project capability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex systems analysis, design and development efforts on key projects.
• Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate tasks for scope projects.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations and Technology staff on direction from analysis to testing.
• Prepare and review test data and detailed test plans; perform debugging as needed.
• Evaluate interrelationships among programs, interfaces and platforms.
• Create technical specifications and update system documentation; review others' work.
• Estimate tasks, timeframes and effort for scope projects; monitor budgets and progress.
• Maintain operation and effectiveness of supported applications; promote best practices.
• Suggest new technology, policies or processes; participate in vendor evaluations.
• Adhere to development standards and internal controls; manage risk-related issues.
