Job summary

Collier County is seeking a lead IT analyst to analyze, develop, program, implement, and maintain software solutions for one or more business units. You will work with users, define needs, develop applications, and manage projects from initiation to deployment.

The role includes leading system configuration, ensuring processes align with department workflows, coordinating testing, and providing end-user support while ensuring data integrity and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two (2) years of related experience; experience should be directly related to assigned business unit’s technical systems and programs.
• Candidates without a related degree should possess an additional four (4) years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• ITIL foundation certification may be required or obtained within two years of entry.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a divisional or departmental system configuration team leader during the implementation and maintenance of assigned technical systems.
• Completes setup and programming to follow departmental workflows and maximize automated processes.
• Oversees testing of all system functions and tracking results; analyzes issues and recommends improvements.
• Provides support for technical systems and software solutions for departmental information systems and applications.
