Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking an Appliance Technician II to maintain kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, freezers, refrigerators, ovens, and pumps. The role involves installation and repair of equipment under minimal supervision with a focus on safety and quality.

The position requires a high school diploma and about ten years of journey-level experience in kitchen equipment repairs, plus knowledge of electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, electronic and refrigeration systems and EPA

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years of journey-level experience in repairs of kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, electronic and refrigeration methods for institutional kitchens.
Must know current refrigeration technology and EPA regulations.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, replace and maintain walk-in and reach-in freezers and refrigerators; replace motors, Freon, belts, thermometers, and adjust controls.
Repair, descale, maintain, and replace dishwashers and water heaters.
Maintain pumps; replace valves, belts, filters, bearings, gears, and motor parts.
Install gas valves, electrical lines, outlets, and repair motors, switches, plugs, and cords.
Maintain and repair ovens, kettles, steamers, mixers, and related equipment.
Produce and maintain records of materials and time spent on jobs.
