Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Interventional Radiology to deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care. The role includes training new APPs, coordinating development activities, and partnering with leadership to guide APP performance.

The position is hybrid (inpatient and outpatient) with a 4x10 hour schedule (Mon-Fri), no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. The candidate will lead clinical practice and contribute to program growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the area of specialty.
• Licensed as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; DEA registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality advanced patient care in IR.
• Coordinate APP training and professional development twice per year.
• Collaborate with leadership on APP performance and competency.
• Mentor APP staff and provide ongoing feedback.
