Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a Hybrid Clinical and Procedural Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) in Interventional Radiology. The APP collaborates with Interventional Radiologists to manage patient care in IR clinic and during procedures.

The role covers consent, documentation, orders, and care plans; includes non-vascular radiologic procedures, discharge summaries, and inpatient rounding. Requires nursing licensure with APN scope and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing practice with focus on Interventional Radiology
• Ability to write structured clinical notes meeting billing standards
• Capability to consent, orders, plans of care, and discharge summaries

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents health history and physical exam with plan of care
• Provides primary, acute and complex care across transitions
• Orders, performs and interprets appropriate diagnostic procedures
• Prescribes therapeutic interventions across pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic and surgical options
