Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Work Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Job Summary

This role requires expertise in Middleware integration technologies, particularly Apigee, in various environments (production, non-production, legacy, container-based).

Responsibilities

1. Provide expertise in Apigee platform (Edge Cloud, OPDK, Hybrid, X), including proxy development, CI/CD, and networking.
2. Design, implement, and support Apigee solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
3. Manage middleware components such as nginx, Kubernetes, and related systems.
4. Configure and maintain middleware software across multiple operating systems.
5. Create automation scripts with Jenkins, Ansible, etc., for deployment and management.
6. Ensure system performance, security, and disaster recovery compliance.
7. Lead middleware team activities and manage vulnerabilities, certificates, and policies.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years in a multi-platform environment, with at least 3 supporting middleware technologies including APIGEE and NGINX.
3. Deep knowledge of proxy/reverse proxy middleware tools.
4. Extensive experience with Apigee platforms, architecture, and implementation.
5. Strong scripting skills and experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation.
6. Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices support technologies.
