Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to help build and evolve the Live and VOD experiences on Hulu and Disney+. You will work across teams to deliver high-quality apps on Android phones, tablets, and TVs with a modern Kotlin/Android toolchain.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Kotlin/Android development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI).
• Experience integrating with backend systems and web services.
• Experience with test automation and performance tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering leadership to craft best-of-class Android experiences.
• Architect and implement durable client/backend integration solutions.
• Develop test infrastructures, write documentation, and follow an agile process.
• Assist with release processes and remote configuration management.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Identify growth areas in team processes and implement improvements.
