Ideal candidates have 7+ years of Kotlin/Android experience, a strong command of MVVM/MVI, and a track record delivering robust apps with automated tests and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of Kotlin and Android development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, lifecycles, threads, and custom views.
• Experience with MVVM/MVI architectural patterns and design principles.
• Experience integrating with backend systems and web services.
• Proficient with reactive frameworks like RxJava or Flow.
• Excellent communicator across teams and demonstrated project leadership.
• Proficient in writing tests and using Android Profiler for performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineering leadership to craft top-tier TV viewing experiences.
• Architect and implement durable solutions with other client and backend engineers.
• Develop test infrastructures, write documentation, and follow agile methodologies.
• Assist with release processes and remote configuration management.
• Manage production issues and solve novel engineering problems.
• Mentor junior team members and support peer code reviews.
