Zohorecruit is seeking a Sr. Android Engineer to lead our mobile client development on-site in SF. You will architect the Android stack, set standards, and deliver a highly performant, secure app from ground up, with potential to lead across platforms as the company scales.

You’ll join a lean, senior-only team in a fintech startup, building products for emerging markets, partnering with major distribution partners, with high cash compensation and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years shipping consumer Android apps natively in Java or Kotlin.
• Experience in early-stage startups or founding engineering teams.
• Experience building for the Latin American market.
• Experience in financial technology (FinTech).
• Full-stack engineering capability across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Android stack architecture and set coding standards for the mobile app.
• Architect and build a highly performant, secure Android application from ground up.
• Collaborate across teams for iOS and web app expansion and platform alignment.
• Evolve into a mobile lead across platforms as the company scales.
