Job description

We are seeking experienced Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our growing team at our Gold (SUTQ), NAC-accredited childcare and preschool center located at 7115 Woodland Ave, Cleveland, OH 44104.

You will be an essential part of a team of qualified teachers who are talented, fun, and genuinely enthusiastic about child development and learning. You must be comfortable working with groups of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. All Around Children promotes collaboration, values open communication, and supports a healthy work-life balance.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour (dependent on experience and credentials), along with an industry-leading benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Teachers in daily responsibilities
• Collaborate with staff to design and implement activities tailored to each child's needs
• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment compliant with licensing standards
• Assist in planning educational and recreational activities for physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
• Keep play, sleep, and changing areas sanitized and organized
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Possession of a CDA, AA, or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field (required for Lead Teachers)
• At least one year of experience in licensed child care
• Experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 2 years
• Ability to pass background checks
• Basic communication and computer skills
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Reliable, compassionate, and organized
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Vaccinations: Tdap, MMR, TB screening
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and participating in safety drills
