Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Chicago is seeking an Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to partner with customers' technical and business leaders and craft scalable, cloud-based analytics architectures.

You will drive adoption of AWS analytics services and work across sales, product, and service teams to resolve complex business challenges and opportunities. Role requires deep domain knowledge and the ability to communicate with C-suite executives, leading architectural reviews and sharing

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains including cloud computing and data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math or equivalent.
• Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps toward cloud transformations.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including trainings and workshops.
• Knowledge of distributed systems design.
• Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management.
• Knowledge of database design and implementation.
• Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills with executives.
• Experience architecting, migrating or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with deep technical expertise to advance AWS product adoption.
• Collaborate with specialists, sales, marketing, and product teams to address complex problems.
• Act as a trusted advisor to line-of-business and C-suite leaders.
• Lead architectural reviews and workshops to advance customer objectives.
• Share best practices through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public events.
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in architectural discussions.
• Provide data and anecdotes to the specialist community and act as primary contact for urgent issues.
