Vasion is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to architect and govern our data platform from ingestion through semantic layers. You’ll own the analytics roadmap, drive AI-powered analytics initiatives, and mentor 1–2 Analytics Engineers.

You’ll lead the Snowflake data warehouse, ELT pipelines with Airbyte/Fivetran, and dbt development in production, ensuring scalable, well-documented data and metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Expert-level SQL and strong data modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud in production.
• Strong Snowflake expertise including RBAC and cost controls.
• Experience managing ELT pipelines with Airbyte or Fivetran.
• Ability to prioritize a project backlog and balance technical debt.
• Clear communicator able to align stakeholders and drive delivery.
• Experience deploying AI tools and building infrastructure for consistent metrics.

Responsabilités

• Architect and govern our Snowflake data warehouse and ELT pipelines.
• Lead dbt model development, tests, and documentation in production.
• Own Analytics Engineering roadmap and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Drive AI analytics initiatives and prototype AI-assisted tooling.
• Establish data quality, lineage, and governance across the stack.
• Mentor 1–2 Analytics Engineers and translate business needs into specs.
