Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Lead Analytics AI/Alteryx/GCP Data Engineer for a 12-month contract to hire. The role, primarily remote, requires relocation to Southlake, TX if offered full-time.

You will own end-to-end data engineering across AI, Alteryx migrations, and GCP pipelines, delivering executive-ready dashboards and data products. Responsibilities include building production-grade BigQuery pipelines, creating reusable datasets, and delivering insightful reports to executives.

Qualifications

• AI experience required.
• Experience migrating Alteryx workflows to GCP.
• Strong Tableau dashboard development background.
• Experience creating charts and visualizations.
• Proficient SQL with CTEs and UDFs.

Responsibilities

• Production-ready BigQuery and GCP data pipelines with automated testing and monitoring.
• Develop Alteryx-to-GCP migration artifacts and runbooks.
• Create executive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI with defined refresh schedules and security controls.
• Curate BigQuery datasets with governed semantic layers.
• Deliver insight reports and executive presentations.
• Maintain well-documented SQL, Python, Dataform/dbt, and orchestration code in source control.

Rate: $80/hr on Vendor W2
Location: Can be remote but will have to relocate to Southlake, TX if offered a Full time position.

• Must have this experience: AI Experience, Alteryx to GCP Experience, Tableau Experience, Charting Experience, SQL/CTEs/UDFs Experience.
• Documented requirements, data contracts, and metric definitions for all engagements.
• Production-ready BigQuery and GCP data pipelines with automated testing, monitoring, and documentation.
• Complete Alteryx-to-GCP migration artifacts, including workflow inventories, target-state designs, re-platformed solutions, validation results, and cutover runbooks.
• Executive-grade Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards with defined refresh schedules, security controls, and usage monitoring.
• Curated and reusable BigQuery datasets with governed semantic layers.
• Insight reports, recommendations, and executive presentations.
• Well-documented SQL, Python, Dataform/dbt, and orchestration code stored in source control.
