We’re looking for an experienced Alteryx Administrator to support a major data transition initiative within a Fortune 500 retail organization headquartered in Austin. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential to extend as the team shifts from Alteryx to Amazon-based analytics systems.

Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $104,000 - $146,000

What You’ll Do

• Administer and maintain the Alteryx environment while systems transition to AWS.
• Identify and document tool owners, workflows, and dependencies.
• Translate technical findings into clear, structured documentation and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a smooth migration and minimize business disruption.
• Support BI and reporting teams as needed with data and process insights.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of full-time Alteryx administration experience (BI development a plus).
• Strong understanding of SQL, with the ability to interpret and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Excellent communication skills — you enjoy writing, documenting, and making data make sense.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda is a plus).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Based in Austin, TX, and available to be in the office 4 days per week.
• 6-month contract with potential to extend.
