FST Technical Services is seeking a Lead Analytical Test Technician to join the Life Science team in Durham, NC. The role involves QA/QC testing of manufacturing facility processing equipment and systems, with overnight travel and weekends at home.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow into a career.
• Strong background testing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing process equipment.
• Tech school training is a plus; hands-on technical training also accepted.
• Military training and/or technical training experience considered.
• Reliability and attention to detail are essential.
• General aptitude in mechanical assembly and use of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA testing of Manufacturing Facility Processing Equipment and Systems.
• Operate conventional analytical testing equipment (MOISTURE, O2, Particulate, TOC, resistivity, helium leak).
• Assist customers in identifying and solving quality problems and perform assigned tasks.
• Participate in Pre-Planning and Site-Specific Programs.
• Troubleshoot issues and document data professionally.
