Job summary

Eagle Analytical in Tampa, FL, seeks an Analytical Chemist II to perform advanced chemical analyses (HPLC, assay, potency, impurity) in a high-volume lab, lead testing, and ensure data integrity.

Required: a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Biochemistry; 3–5 years in regulated labs; Master’s preferred. Proficiency with HPLC/UV-Vis; experience with SOPs, cGMP, and audits; mentor junior staff.

Experience with method validation and continuous improvement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a regulated analytical laboratory (cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025, USP, A2LA).
• Proficient with HPLC, UV-Vis and other analytical instrumentation.
• Experience reviewing laboratory data, quality documentation, and regulatory compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and moderately complex chemical analyses (HPLC, assay, potency, impurity).
• Lead sample tracking, testing, and result reporting with accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot unexpected results and instrument issues independently.
• Maintain instruments, calibrations, and advanced troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Mentor Analytical Chemist I and entry-level staff; train on SOP compliance.
