Job summary

Eagle Tampa, a high-volume analytical laboratory, seeks an Analytical Chemist II to lead complex testing (HPLC, potency, impurity) and guide junior staff. You will ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance, and drive method validation and process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Biochemistry, 3–5 years in a regulated lab, and strong proficiency with HPLC, UV-Vis, and modern analytical instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and moderately complex chemical analyses (HPLC, assay, potency, impurity testing).
• Lead sample tracking, test execution, and results reporting.
• Troubleshoot test results or equipment issues independently.
• Conduct instrument maintenance, calibration, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Review SOPs and mentor junior staff on SOP compliance.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025, USP, A2LA, and SOPs.
• Participate in continuous improvement and high-volume workflow management.
• Train Analytical Chemist I and entry-level staff.
• Support internal audits, safety inspections, and client audits.
• Assist with special projects and cross-functional laboratory initiatives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
