Job summary

Eagle is seeking an Investigation Specialist in Houston to lead analytical investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPAs in a GMP-regulated environment. You will document findings, collaborate with QA, Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs, and support audits with SME input.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in a regulated lab, expertise in HPLC/GC/UV-Vis/FTIR, and a strong grasp of regulatory requirements and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry required; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5+ years in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR and related instrumentation.
• Familiarity with GMP regulations and FDA/ICH guidelines; CAPA experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, conduct, and document investigations into deviations, OOS/OOT, and quality events.
• Perform root cause analysis using analytical data and records.
• Develop and track CAPAs to resolve issues timely.
• Prepare clear investigation reports complying with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Support audits with documentation and SME input.
