Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Transportation Project Manager to join our Franklin or Nashville team. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive pursuit efforts, and manage complex transportation projects across the full lifecycle, from opportunity through closeout.

In this role, you will build relationships with TDOT and other partners, shape strategies for alternative delivery, and mentor a growing practice to deliver value and growth in the Tennessee

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive AEC experience with significant leadership in alternative delivery projects.
• Proven track record leading complex transportation and/or infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, and/or P3.
• Experience leading RFQs, RFPs, ATCs, teaming strategies, and client interviews.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contracts, budgets, schedules, risk management, and project execution.
• Established relationships with DOTs, public agencies, contractors, consultants, and other infrastructure partners.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills to identify opportunities and win work.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate complex project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through full lifecycle of alternative delivery projects, from pursuit to closeout.
• Build and strengthen relationships with TDOT, public agencies, contractors, consultants, and partners to identify opportunities.
• Lead RFQs, RFPs, ATCs, teaming strategies, interviews, and pursuit efforts aligning technical solutions with client goals.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, deliverables, and contractual requirements.
• Partner with Tennessee leadership to grow Benesch's alternative delivery capabilities and best practices.
• Shape the future of the practice by identifying opportunities, mentoring others, and growing the team for long-term success.
