Pay Rate: $19.42 / HR

Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the overall operation within an assigned functional area, reporting to management
  • Ensuring adequate operational coverage, scheduling, and manpower utilization
  • Maintaining a safe, dependable, and consistent operation
  • Conducting agent observations
  • Scheduling and administering local training, including new hire training
  • Maintaining supplies and inventory control logs
  • Preparing customer correspondence, investigating discrepancies, and compiling statistical data for reports
  • Completing administrative duties
  • Performing station agent work within the ramp service operation as required, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo on and off aircraft
  • Transporting items between terminals, aircraft, and the baggage room using belt-loaders, tugs, carts, and other equipment
  • Marshalling aircraft in coordination with teammates to ensure safety
  • Cleaning and servicing cabin interiors, including seatback pockets, cushions, tray tables, overhead bins, cockpit, galley, and lavatory
  • De-icing aircraft using appropriate equipment, if applicable
  • Organizing work groups and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications

Who we’re looking for?

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended driver’s license (some restrictions may apply)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off, with punctuality
  • Flexibility to work additional hours on short notice due to operational needs
  • Ability to perform duties in various weather conditions and time constraints
  • Ability to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Previous team-lead experience preferred
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership, initiative, and judgment qualities
  • Administrative background preferred
  • Good attendance record preferred
  • Previous airline experience, including familiarity with ticketing systems and ramp operations, may be desired at some locations
