Job summary

Gate Gourmet is seeking a motivated Cook to prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, while acting as a lead in production for high-volume operations.

The role requires a culinary degree or cook certification (preferred) and at least 2 years' experience in institutional catering, with skill in maintaining temperature logs and adapting recipes for daily production. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or cook certification preferred.
• At least 2 years cooking in a high-volume institutional catering environment preferred.
• Experience maintaining temperature logs for prepared items.

Responsibilities

• Assembles equipment per airline specs and diagrams.
• Packages and prepares beverages for flights.
• Keeps production areas compliant with sanitation standards.
• Documents inventory in compliance with requirements.
• Follows directions and works as part of a team.
• Supports hot food leadership in monitoring production quality/efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
