STS Aviation Services is seeking a Lead Airframe & Powerplant Technician to supervise and perform maintenance on Airbus aircraft at our Melbourne, Florida base. This full-time role requires strong leadership and hands-on A&P expertise to keep line maintenance efficient and compliant.

The successful candidate will have an A&P licence, 4+ years of A&P experience, and at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role, with US work authorization. Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and quality.

Competenze

• Valid A&P licence required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as an A&P Technician maintaining commercial and/or large regional aircraft; comparable military experience is acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Lead A&P Technician or Supervisor.
• Must currently be authorised to work in the United States.

Role Overview

STS Aviation Services is hiring Lead Airframe & Powerplant Technicians for its aircraft base maintenance team at its overhaul and repair station in Melbourne, Florida. These are direct full-time positions working predominantly on Airbus aircraft.

Licences & Qualifications

• Valid A&P licence required
• Valid driver's licence
• Ability to obtain an airport licence, pass a background check and obtain all necessary badging
• Minimum 4 years' experience as an A&P Technician maintaining commercial and/or large regional aircraft; comparable military experience is acceptable
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Lead A&P Technician or Supervisor

Requirements

• Willing and able to work whatever shift and schedule is required
• Not under a doctor's care with limited work restrictions
• Able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs and work stands unassisted
• Able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Willing to work in changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels
• Excellent communication and people skills, and good judgement in a team environment and in aircraft maintenance and safety
• Problem-solving and organisational skills, and the ability to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals
• Must currently be authorised to work in the United States
