Job summary

KBR is seeking an Aircraft Systems Integrator to support the AST Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role involves developing and validating DoD operable network capabilities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer requirements are met within project constraints.

Qualified candidates have an active Top Secret/SSBI clearance, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and experience with Navy aircraft integration and EO/IR systems.

Qualifications

• Clearance & Citizenship: Top Secret/SSBI; current or recent clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading schematics and performing complex subsystem troubleshooting.
• Proficiency editing or creating drawings in Visio or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration efforts for aircraft optical systems and network architectures.
• Design subsystem interfaces to integrate EO/IR systems onto P-8A aircraft.
• Perform functional analysis of integrated networks to meet performance goals.
• Develop proposals and ECPs for AST projects and support testing.
• Conduct post-modification checks, troubleshooting, and provide technical direction.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and advise on logistics for AST systems.
• Provide hands-on training to military and civilian personnel, including in-flight test support.
• Attend AST program meetings and report status to leadership.
• Travel up to 25% for integration and testing activities.
