Job summary

KBR's Mission Engineering Division seeks an Aircraft Systems Integrator (ASI) to support the AST Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role involves integration of EO/IR systems on aircraft, network architectures, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Qualified candidates have active TS/SSBI clearance, a technical degree (or HS with 8 years systems integration), and experience with Navy aircraft and drawing tools like Visio or AutoCAD. Travel up to 25% and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Clearance & Citizenship: Active Top Secret/SSBI; SSBI within 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
• Education: technical degree or HS with significant systems integration experience.
• Experience: Navy aircraft systems integration, installation, and checkout.
• Software/Tools: Drawings with Visio or AutoCAD.
• Certification: ability to pass physical/water survival qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration for aircraft EO/IR systems and network architectures.
• Design subsystems interfaces and validate EO/IR integration on aircraft.
• Perform functional analysis to meet customer performance goals.
• Develop proposals and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
• Conduct post-modification checkouts, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and assist with logistics.
• Provide hands-on training to military and civilian personnel.
• Attend AST program meetings and report status to leadership.
• Travel up to 25% for integration and testing activities.
