Job summary

KBR's Mission Engineering Division seeks an Aircraft Systems Integrator to support the AST Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role focuses on leading EO/IR system integration and network architecture for DoD interfaces, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SSBI clearance, has Navy aircraft integration experience, and can edit/create drawings in Visio or AutoCAD. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SSBI clearance or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent 8+ years of systems integration experience.
• Experience on Navy aircraft; read schematics; troubleshoot subsystems.
• Experience editing or creating drawings in Visio or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration efforts for aircraft optical systems and network architectures.
• Conduct subsystem interface design and research for EO/IR systems on the P-8A.
• Perform functional analysis of integrated networks to meet performance goals.
• Support development and evaluation of proposals and ECPs for AST projects.
• Post-modification checkouts, testing, troubleshooting, and technical direction across equipment.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and advise on logistics for AST systems.
• Provide hands-on training to military and civilian personnel, including in-flight test support.
• Attend AST program meetings and report status to government leadership.
