Qualifications

• BSME, BSAE or BSCE with 8+ years in aircraft structural analysis.
• MSME/MSAE with 7+ years in aircraft structural analysis.
• In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related structural analysis experience.
• Demonstrated finite element modeling experience.
• Experience with MSC NASTRAN and MSC PATRAN or FEMAP.

Responsibilities

• Generate free body diagrams.
• Determine reactions and internal loads; develop shear/moment diagrams.
• Predict stresses and instabilities in aircraft structure.
• Automate repetitive analytical tasks.
• Document and report analysis results.
• Communicate clearly and work well in a team.
• Travel as necessary.
• Obtain a security clearance.
• Work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
