Job summary

Boeing Global Services – Structures Stress Team seeks an Experienced or Lead Level Structural Analysis Engineer for the Long Beach, CA design center. This 100% onsite role analyzes primary and secondary structures for production and post-production work, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities include detailed stress analysis, design guidance, trade studies, and integrated FE analysis to verify structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and successful program outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience with Stress/Structural Analysis.
• 3+ years with hand analysis and FEA software.
• Experience with Boeing tools, processes, and procedures.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis to verify margins of safety and compliance.
• Provide guidance on structural design and configuration development.
• Create trade studies to optimize structure for program requirements.
• Integrate component-level models and perform FE analysis for loads.
• Document analyses and data to show regulatory compliance.
• Participate in resolving technical, operational, or quality issues.
• Support regular and emergent domestic or international travel.
• Work onsite 5 days per week.
• May support other programs as needed.
