Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Falcon Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga, TN to guide a team of technicians in delivering top-quality maintenance and timely aircraft work. You will lead multiple projects, supervise daily activities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong technical background, 8+ years in aviation maintenance and 4+ years with program-specific airframes, along with an A&P license and factory training where available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Aircraft-specific factory training is preferred.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program-specific airframes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality, timely results.
• Coordinate work turnover between shifts and supervise daily tasks.
• Reduce aircraft turn time and mentor technicians on assigned projects.
• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Ensure compliance with FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
