Job summary

Embraer is seeking a Lead Interiors Aircraft Mechanic to provide hands-on leadership and technical support to the Interiors team in Fort Worth, TX. The role ensures interior maintenance, repair, modification, and refurbishment work is performed safely and to specification.

The candidate will lead daily work, coordinate technicians, review documentation, manage tooling and materials, and drive quality and safety across projects. Strong leadership and 5+ years in interiors are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant aircraft interiors experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong technical knowledge of the aircraft interior systems.
• Experience in maintenance, modification, refurbishment, or MRO environment preferred.
• Must hold applicable certifications when required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with assigning and coordinating daily work within the area of responsibility.
• Provide hands‑on leadership, guidance, and technical support to assigned technicians.
• Ensure technicians have access to applicable manuals, drawings, work instructions, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and other required technical data.
• Review assigned work and help ensure maintenance and production records are properly completed by responsible technicians.
• Support the internal tooling process and ensure required tools and equipment are available for assigned work.
• Initiate requests for materials, parts, supplies, and stock as needed.
• Ensure proper handling, protection, and preservation of aircraft parts, components, and units throughout the maintenance or refurbishment process.
• Verify assigned technicians have the appropriate training and demonstrated skills required to perform their assigned tasks.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving interior‑related technical or production issues.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Promote quality workmanship, productivity, teamwork, and a safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
