Job summary

L3Harris MMG Division is seeking an experienced Aircraft Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer for our onsite facility in Waco, TX. You will perform fatigue and crack growth analyses, develop mission profiles, and determine inspection intervals for modified aircraft, with travel and security clearance as part of the role.

The position requires a strong background in structural dynamics, design support, and preparation of documentation to ensure airworthiness, with relocation assistance for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 7+ years in aircraft structural dynamics.
Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

Perform fatigue analysis of aircraft structures.
Conduct crack growth analysis of aircraft structures.
Develop mission profiles and usage spectra for modified aircraft.
Determine inspection intervals for delivered aircraft.
Provide design support and drawing review; generate required documentation.
Travel as necessary and obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
