Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton, WI is seeking a Master Craftsperson to perform precision repairs and assemblies on aircraft installations, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 10 years in production/manufacturing, and FAA A&P license or ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days.

You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control to drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
10 years of production/manufacturing/service center experience.
FAA A&P license or ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work any shift.
Familiar with CATIA V5 and Solumina software.

Responsibilities

Perform technical functions in manufacturing, sequence of operations and assemblies with precision.
Troubleshoot tooling, production, and aircraft systems to improve quality and efficiency.
Assist in planning methods and use tooling efficiently using standard techniques.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control to resolve issues.
Organize and administer the Employee Skills Development Program.
Identify training requirements for tooling, test equipment and other areas.
Support Lean activities.
