Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA seeks a Master Craftsperson on the second shift to lead in-service aircraft installations, repairs and refurbishments with precision and timeliness. You will work with Engineering and Quality Control, mentor technicians, and uphold Gulfstream standards.

Must have high school or GED, FAA A&P license or repairman certificate within 30 days, and a track record of 10 years in production/manufacturing/service. Cabinet making experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA A&P license or be able to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.
• 10 years extensive experience in production/manufacturing/service center.
• Position Purpose: Technical expert on in-service aircraft and perform repairs on installations that require a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical functions on in-service installations, repairs, and refurbishments with precision.
• Troubleshoot issues on in-service aircraft and pursue preventative actions with proper liaison.
• Assist in planning methods for refurbishments and installations using standard techniques.
