Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Lead Aircraft Deicer for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on the day shift. The role focuses on safe de/anti-icing operations, inspecting aircraft and applying glycol deicing fluid as required.

This is a part-time seasonal position with shift flexibility between 6:30 am and 10:30 pm. Responsibilities include monitoring operations, logging equipment use, and ensuring adherence to safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow company policies.
• Inspect aircraft for ice and remaining frozen contamination after deicing.
• Participate in pre-planning for the de/ice event (check equipment and servicing gear).
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads, including paperwork and log books; report maintenance issues.
