Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Interior Cabinet Technician (2nd Shift) for East Alton, IL. You will lead modifications and installations of aircraft cabinets, drive daily work, and ensure quality standards are met.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with the CAE Director of Maintenance, and perform evaluations. The role demands independent work, training responsibilities, and adherence to FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in aircraft cabinet work.
• Supervisory training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cabinet modifications and installations.
• Perform quality checks and supervise daily activities.
• Train and mentor interior technicians to improve knowledge and performance.
• Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations.
• Assist engineering on major modification projects.
• Work independently on projects and communicate clearly in English.
