Hanson Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Air Quality Engineer to lead permitting projects and perform compliance work in Kentucky. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct dispersion modeling, prepare permit applications, and engage with agencies on regulatory matters.

You’ll provide technical guidance on emission control technologies, support business development, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality services to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• 10+ years of experience in air quality permitting and compliance in consulting, industrial, or regulatory settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage air quality permitting projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct air quality assessments and emission inventories for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and review air permit applications for regulatory accuracy.
• Interface with regulatory agencies during permit negotiations and approvals.
• Provide guidance on air quality compliance strategies and best practices.
