Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Air Quality professional to lead air permitting and compliance work, from straightforward applications to complex Title V projects. You’ll join a growing environmental consulting team known for client relationships and hands-on technical work.

The ideal candidate can step in with minimal ramp-up, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with regulatory agencies and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of environmental consulting experience with a focus on air permitting.
• Hands-on experience preparing air permit applications, including Title V.
• Experience with construction permitting and air compliance programs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a plug-and-play capacity.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit air permit applications, including construction and Title V permits
• Perform emissions calculations, applicability analyses, and permitting exemption determinations
• Prepare routine compliance reports such as annual emissions statements and monitoring reports
• Execute air permitting work independently from start to finish
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
• Manage multiple projects while adhering to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
