Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Principal Vulnerability Analyst to validate AI-identified vulnerabilities, drive remediation, and translate AI findings into actionable guidance for engineering teams. You will triage findings, assess exploitability, and coordinate with product owners and platform teams to maintain momentum on high‑risk issues.

You will mentor analysts, develop playbooks, and contribute to improving AI vulnerability workflows while communicating risk through executive summaries and status

Qualifications

• Experience validating and driving remediation of software vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of vulnerability classes, CWE, CVSS, and exploitability analysis.
• Ability to explain vulnerabilities to developers and product teams and drive remediation.

Responsibilities

• Validate AI-identified vulnerabilities by reviewing code context and architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to confirm ownership and remediation options.
• Translate AI findings into actionable remediation guidance for engineers.
• Triage AI findings to separate true/false positives and duplicates, and manage remediation prioritization.
• Prepare executive summaries and risk narratives on remediation progress.
