Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an AI Red Team Lead Engineer to direct offensive security for AI/ML systems, models, data pipelines, and supporting infrastructure. You will own design, execution, and reporting of red team operations, partnering with teams to identify AI-related risks.

The role requires advanced testing methods, automation and mentoring of red team engineers, with a focus on real-world adversaries and governance integration. On-site three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Eight+ years of relevant security experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical abilities.
• Proven collaboration and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Red Team operations, including adversarial testing of models, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Design and execute AI-specific threat emulation aligned to real-world adversaries.
• Develop and maintain custom AI red team tooling, frameworks, and automation.
• Perform security research into AI attack techniques and model vulnerabilities.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to red team engineers.
