U.S. Bank seeks an experienced AI Red Team Lead Engineer to direct offensive security activities focused on AI/ML systems and traditional enterprise surfaces.

You will own the design, execution, and reporting of red team operations, adversarial testing, and threat emulation for models, data pipelines, AI-enabled apps, and related infrastructure. You will partner with teams to identify and communicate AI-related risks, maturing testing through automation and repeatable methods, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Eight-plus years of relevant experience.
• Thorough understanding of information security systems, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Red Team operations, including adversarial testing of models, deployment environments, pipelines, and governance controls.
• Design and execute AI-specific threat emulation aligned to real-world adversaries and emerging attack techniques.
• Develop and maintain custom AI red team tooling, frameworks, and automation.
• Perform security research into AI attack techniques, model vulnerabilities, and defensive gaps.
• Partner with detection, engineering, and governance teams to support purple-team activities and control validation.
• Contribute to AI security standards, testing guidance, and program strategy.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to red team engineers.
