Job summary

DAT Freight & Analytics is seeking a Sr AI Engineer to build and own the platform powering our agentic solutions. You will design scalable AI infrastructure on AWS, including Bedrock, SageMaker, EKS, and S3, with Pulumi for infrastructure as code.

Lead platform ownership, architecture, and best practices; mentor engineers; drive cross‑team alignment on model development, evaluation, and deployment with strong emphasis on observability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of software engineering experience with production infrastructure ownership.
• 4+ years building and operating machine learning or AI platforms from notebook to production.
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes experience with IaC tools (Pulumi/Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Own platform design and operation for shared AI services and model deployment.
• Lead architecture decisions and drive alignment across Product, Engineering and Operations.
• Ensure cost efficiency, observability, and security in AI workloads.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists to raise operational standards.
