Job summary

Payward is building the enterprise AI platform powering Kraken’s global crypto services. You’ll design and implement the technical layer, from integration surface to production runbooks, and own the governed gateway with authentication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Enterprise SaaS administration at 1,000+ seats, ideally including an AI or LLM platform.
• Proven ability to build and ship working software; Python or comparable language comes naturally.
• Experience integrating against LLM and SaaS APIs with agent/tool use patterns.
• Working knowledge of identity and access: Okta, OAuth, SCIM, SSO, federated identity.
• Operational discipline: SLAs, runbooks, escalation hygiene, and documenting fixes.
• Clear written communication for technical docs, runbooks, and policy pages.
• Judgment on what to build vs. demo; prefers real customer value over novelty.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the technical layer of the AI platform from integration surface to production runbook.
• Own the governed integration gateway, including connector onboarding and authentication flows.
• Develop internal tooling; create reusable skills, prompts, and evaluation harnesses.
• Configure tiered spend controls across the AI estate with alerts and reconciliations.
• Implement data handling controls: identity, SSO/SCIM, and model class retention terms.
• Work with teams to unblock workflows and enable leverage of tools.
• Lead technical enablement: tool rollouts, office hours, and knowledge base guidance.
• Manage the enterprise AI estate end to end: model turn ups, provisioning, and vendor configs.
