Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior AI Ops Engineer - ITS to lead the design, development, and documentation of software solutions within the applications portfolio. You will work with ITS colleagues and business partners to define requirements, assess vendor vs. custom modules, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and at least five years of hands-on software development. Proficiency in Oracle EBS, PL/SQL, Java, and .NET is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on software development in a team environment.
• Experience with Oracle EBS, PL/SQL, Java and .NET.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux and modern development practices.
• Ability to prepare technical specifications and architecture deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition, development, and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with business partners and ITS to define detailed requirements and interfaces.
• Develop complex software applications and modify existing software with limited supervision.
• Lead discussions with analysts, developers, and designers on new programs and customizations.
• Research emerging development tools and standards to support procurement and development.
