Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Security Engineer for Agentic AI/ML in Tampa, FL. You will join a high-impact cybersecurity team delivering secure software while preventing misuse and ensuring auditability across multiple business functions.

You will drive secure production code, perform threat modeling, and leverage enterprise AI capabilities to enhance security in the SDLC, aligning with resiliency goals and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Python in Cloud Environments (Public/Private)
• Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions
• Strong hands-on AI/ML engineering skills (ML frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow, MLOps with CI/CD and model deployment/monitoring)
• Deep GenAI experience (LLMs - Open AI, Anthropic, Token Management, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings/vector databases) and Agentic AI expertise
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support security engineering workflows
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code/security recommendations before adoption
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle Development, Testing and Implementation
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

Responsibilities

• Executes creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches
• Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Minimizes security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and governmental regulations to evolve security protocols
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate threat modeling and security documentation
• Works with stakeholders and business leaders to understand security needs and propose modifications during vulnerabilities
• Conducts discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenarios on multiple assets
• Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within SDLC/toolchain routines to strengthen testing and validation
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
• Be able to work with teams located in different geographical locations
