Job summary

SysTechCorp Inc. is seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer (FDE) to design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions for enterprise Finance, leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure, LangChain, and Databricks, and collaboration with Finance executives and data teams. You will lead POC development, establish evaluation frameworks, and drive production readiness while ensuring governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML engineering and Generative AI.
• Strong Finance domain knowledge (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax) and enterprise Finance ops exposure.
• Hands-on with Agentic AI and AI agents; cloud-based AI/ML tech.
• Azure cloud and Azure AI services experience; LangChain & LLM frameworks.
• Knowledge of data platforms; data governance and trusted data sources.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production; APIs & scalable systems.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform enterprise Finance operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong Finance domain background combined with hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and cloud-based AI/ML technologies.

The candidate will work closely with senior Finance executives and technical teams to understand business use cases and rapidly develop AI-driven Proofs of Concept (POCs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI solutions aligned with enterprise Finance business objectives.
• Build and deploy LLM-based applications, RAG architectures, intelligent AI agents, and decision-support solutions.
• Develop agentic AI workflows to automate and optimize Finance processes.
• Implement prompt engineering, prompt orchestration, tool calling, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into AI-powered solutions.
• Work with Data Engineering teams to integrate trusted and governed data sources.
• Develop and implement model evaluation frameworks, testing strategies, and performance benchmarks.
• Monitor and optimize AI solution accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, security, privacy, and enterprise governance standards.
• Lead AI solutions from initial design and POC development through production readiness.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in AI/ML Engineering and Generative AI.
• Strong Finance domain knowledge, preferably in FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, or enterprise Finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and development of AI agents.
• Experience with Azure cloud and Azure AI services.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and LLM frameworks.
• Experience with Databricks and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud-native architectures, and scalable software systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–2+ years of experience developing and deploying Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience building AI-powered automation for Finance business processes.
• Knowledge of AI observability, model monitoring, evaluation, and drift detection.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI products from POC to production.
• Strong Finance domain experience is essential.
• Candidates must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be comfortable collaborating directly with senior Finance executives.
• Should be capable of quickly understanding business use cases and developing working AI/ML POCs.
• Local to Minnesota candidates are preferred. Candidates willing to travel to Minnesota initially may also be considered.
