Job summary

Mission.dev is building a comprehensive engineering intelligence platform with a unified data and AI-driven approach. You will own end-to-end data architecture, merging technical telemetry with commercial metrics to provide a single source of truth for the organization.

You will drive AI enablement across engineering by designing and shipping agents, productivity tools, and RAG-based solutions. This hands-on role impacts system health and development velocity globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application development and distributed systems architecture.
• 5+ years of production data engineering and analytics platforms experience.
• Proficiency in Spark, PySpark, and SQL for large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop production ETL/ELT pipelines transforming eCommerce and observability data.
• Create summarized datasets and aggregation layers for NLQ and executive reporting.
• Engineer a unified health dashboard integrating latency, errors, and business metrics on conversions and renewals.
• Build AI agents for anomaly detection, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
• Design LL-powered productivity tools (code search, runbooks) using RAG and prompts.
