Job summary
Okta is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to build agentic AI solutions that accelerate theProduct Development Life Cycle. You will write code, design multi-agent systems, and ensure scalable, secure AI-driven workflows across US, India, and beyond.
You will partner with Process Improvement to transform bottlenecks into production-ready automations, enabling engineers to supervise multiple AI agents and review outputs in a collaborative, compliant environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering with backend focus.
- Proven experience building applications using LLMs and agentic AI.
- Deep expertise with enterprise developer tools and APIs.
- Strong automation, IaC, and container orchestration skills.
- Collaborative experience across multi-geography teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy multi-agent systems for engineering workflows.
- Integrate LLMs with internal tooling via APIs for semi-autonomous tasks.
- Develop tools for AI agents to safely interact with code repos and CI/CD.
- Ensure secure, sandboxed AI solutions with least privilege.
- Architect global PDLC automation pipelines and enable async handoffs.
