Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to advance foundational AI systems, model training, inference, and observability. You will work with a cross-functional team to deploy AI-powered products that improve customer experiences and internal workflows.

The role requires strong engineering and math foundations, plus experience with AI/ML algorithms, production deployment, and optimization across hardware, latency, and cost. This is a full-time on-site position in McLean, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field with hands-on AI/ML experience.
• Proficient in Python and at least one other major language (Go/Scala/Java).
• Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
